An Ottoman Islamic Calligraphic Panel, 20th Century.
A finely executed Ottoman calligraphic featuring elegant thuluth and kufic scripts arranged in a tiered composition. The upper and lower panels present verses in sweeping thuluth script, including the Qur'anic verse “Allahu nooru al-samawaati wal-ard” (Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth), while the central band features square kufic in dense geometric layout.
