A Chinese Bronze "Swan" Ewer for the Islamic Market, Qing Dynasty.
A finely cast bronze ewer in the form of a standing swan, dating to the Qing Dynasty and produced for the Islamic market. The ewer features a globular body raised on naturalistically modelled bird legs and webbed feet. The arched neck extends into a gently curved spout, while the tail is flattened and flared, serving as a handle.
