A North African Mamluk-Style Framed Illuminated Quran Page.
A Quranic manuscript leaf in the Mamluk style, originating from North Africa. Executed in large, bold Kufic script in black ink with prominent red diacritical marks, the text is carefully aligned and enclosed within an ornate gold-illuminated border. The upper portion features a gilded rectangular cartouche bearing the Surah title in finely detailed Thuluth script, accentuated by delicate vegetal motifs.
